About the artist
Julia Crossland is an artist and illustrator who lives in a small village close to the Peak District. She has been painting and drawing the seaside since she was a small child and her love of the coast is evident in many of her paintings. Her work has appeared in exhibitions in the UK and in magazines. Julia takes her inspiration from coastal villages around the UK, and is particularly inspired by Cornwall and Northumberland.
