Modern pewter is 92% pure tin and added to this are small amounts of copper and other metals to give additional strength. Lead Free Pewter is a non-tarnishing, non rusting and environmentally friendly material. It won't go grey like old pewter & it doesn't need polishing like silver. To clean just wash with soapy water.
