Inspired by the traditional British seaside, this highly detailed embroidered cushion includes three figures sat in deck chairs and a little girl with bucket and spade at the ready. A pier, boats and seagulls are embroidered towards the horizon. Complete with Thermos flask detail for that quintessential cup of English tea!

The background is made from three panels of linen fabric. The pier is made from hand cut silk and cotton pieces with intricate free-hand machine embroidery adding the finer details on the pier. The skilled art of 'freehand machine embroidery' uses the sewing machine needle like a pencil - 'drawing' free hand stitches directly on the fabric.

The cushion is backed in cream linen and comes complete with a luxury removable duck feather filled cushion.

Each cushion is hand made in West Sussex to order, so there will be slight variations to the pictures shown. Estimated delivery time 7 - 10 days.
