'Small bright harbour' is made up from two layered driftwood sections put together to give this harbour a three dimensional quality. The boats and harbourside houses are based on those of the Georgian town of Aberaeron that lies just down the coast from Lizzie's home and is a great place for fish and chips and honey ice cream.

Lizzie Spikes lives, works and walks on the beautiful West coast of Wales. She creates her paintings on canvases fashioned from the flotsam and jetsam found washed up on the beaches of Ceredigion.
