The large and unique and original canvas for this panel is made up from reclaimed scaffolding boards . The width of the boards makes them the perfect canvas for the shoal of swirling, swimming mackerel to swim along.

Lizzie Spikes lives, works and walks on the beautiful West coast of Wales. She creates her paintings on canvases fashioned from reclaimed wood and the flotsam and jetsam found washed up on the beaches of Ceredigion.
