Fine bone china pint jug by UK ceramic artist Julia Davey.
This is a useful sized jug: great for a milk on the family breakfast table or orange juice on a Sunday. Or pretty with an arrangement of flowers. Comfortably holds a pint.
The design is inspired by the beach huts along the Dorset coast. Walking along one of the beaches Julia discovered some very individual looking beach huts; With interesting weather vanes, painted in stripes and adorned with wooden numbers for identification they all had their own character. The ice lolly she ate that day is hidden at the base of each piece on the inside too!
Each fine bone china jug is cast in a small factory in Stoke on Trent. They are then individually hand decorated with digital transfers and hand painted dots of silver lustre in Julia's Somerset studio.
Dishwasher safe, though it must be pointed out that the silver dots of lustre may lose their shine over time as this form of washing is abrasive to them.
Available in large and small size.
